Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Please feel free to contact us with your questions.

Math4Everyone is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote math skills among middle school students in areas that lack resources. Our coaches are from local high schools. They are very experienced in math competitions and have won various honor awards from American Math Competitions, MathCounts, and other regional/state level math competitions. They are very passionate about math and eager to share and promote it with all students.

Students from 6th-8th grade are all welcome to join. Students don’t have to be already very strong at math to join this tournament. This tournament will put students in the pool that matches their current math level.

For students whose math skills are at their grade level but are not confident enough to compete in national math competitions, like MathCount and American Math Competitions (AMC 8), this tournament will be a great opportunity for them to further advance their math skills and become more confident to participate national math competitions in future.

For students who are very strong or below their current grade level, they will be put in the pool that is either above or below their current grade and receives the coaching that matches their ability.

It is in a team format. Students from the same school will form one team to represent their school. In the end, there will be an award ceremony for the winning teams and outstanding individuals.
Coaching and contest contents are mapped to Common Core standards for 6th-8th grades. Our purpose is to support and solidify classroom learning.
Yes, free coaching sessions will be provided two months before the contest.

The teams would be formed by the end of February, which will be followed by free weekly coach sessions. The contest will be held yearly in April.

The coach sessions and tournament will be held at The Healdsburg School.
